Papilio.bio is a biotechnology startup developing the first at-home HPV self-test, designed to make HPV-related cancer screening faster, easier, and more accessible to everyone.

Founded and led by two entrepreneurs, Serena Petracchini (CSO) and Chiara Cespi Polisiani (CEO), Papilio.bio is committed to advancing gender diversity and inclusion in the healthtech sector.
The intern will contribute to the technological development of Papilio.bio’s HPV detection test, focusing on the design, production, and purification of recombinant proteins used in the detection system.
The internship will take place within the laboratories of SPARTNERS – Biolabs in Gif-sur-Yvette, under the supervision of Serena Petracchini, PhD in Microbiology and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at Papilio.bio.
